Coming to collect your vehicle
What we need
When you hire a van or car from Applegate Van Hire Ltd, we have to make sure the driver has a valid driving licence by completing a few checks
1.Your Driving license
Applegate requires your driving license card or the old paper style license. This will need to be provided on the day of collection
2. View your driving license information
DVLA have implemented a system to share your driving license information. This system allows you to generate a code that shows us your endorsement information (even if you do not have any)
Follow the steps using the button below to share your information.
The code and your licence or the downloaded PDF can be sent to us ready for your collection.
DVLA checks3. Collection day ID
Along with your licence, DVLA endorsement code, we will need to see 2 other forms of identification on the day of collection.
These can include utility bills, bank statements, council tax, insurance , credit card statements, HMRC, mortgage letters but all needed to be dated within 3 months of the hire date
4. Collection
The collection of the vehicle will be quicker:
If you bring the DVLA endorsement code print out or if you send it to us beforehand, along with any other proof of addresses.
